Sanctuary in Wambierzyce: one of the most popular pilgrimage places in Poland. The main object of worship is the statue of Our Lady of Wambierzyce, which is located in the main altar of the church. First, a wooden chapel was built in this place in 1263, after a certain Jan from Raszew regained his sight at the sight of the statue of Our Lady. Later, at the beginning of the 18th century, the wooden church was replaced by an impressive Baroque temple, which can still be admired today. There are 57 steps leading to it, rich in symbolism. The first nine steps are intended to represent the number of the angelic choirs. The next thirty-three degrees symbolize the age of Christ, and the next fifteen are the age of Mary at the moment of conception. In 1936, the church was given the title of minor basilica. For centuries, zealous followers of the Marian cult have been coming here from the surrounding regions: the Czech Republic, Moravia and Silesia. Currently, the service in the sanctuary is performed by Franciscans from the Province of St. Jadwiga from the Order of Friars Minor.

The sanctuary building itself is impressive. It is best to be in this place at the so-called golden hour, i.e. at sunrise or sunset. The sanctuary illuminated by the sun's rays delights then.

Calvary in Wambierzyce:

The word calvary comes from Latin and is the equivalent of the Hebrew word golgotha, meaning skull. Calvaries began to be established in Europe in the Middle Ages, on hills - following the example of Jerusalem. The faithful believed that by making pilgrimages to such places, which replaced the holy land, they would obtain indulgence. It was similar in Wambierzyce. The first wooden chapels were built here in 1683 on the initiative of Daniel von Osterberg, the then owner of Wambierzyce. Since then, thousands of pilgrims have traveled the Way of the Cross here. The chapels that survive today mainly date from the 19th and early 20th centuries. The entire Calvary consists of about 100 chapels and chapels and 12 gates. When in Wambierzyce, it is worth visiting this picturesque place.

Międzygórze: is a small mountain town located in the Eastern Sudetes, on the slopes of Góra Iglica, in the valley of the Wilczka stream. A walk around Międzygórze is like traveling back in time to a bygone era. Beautiful, over 100-year-old Tyrolean-style villas and guesthouses attract attention every few steps. Their architecture is so atmospheric and historic that Międzygórze is called Little Switzerland and the architectural pearl of the Sudetes. Among the villas dating back to pre-war times, there is another, this time a natural attraction of Międzygórze. The largest and highest waterfall in the Śnieżnik Massif. It was created on the line of a tectonic fault, from where the Wilczka River falls from a height of 22 m between the rocks. The waterfall is very picturesquely located in the Wilczka River valley. Międzygórze is also a great starting point for Śnieżnik, Trójmorski Wierch and other trails in the Śnieżnik Massif.
